Northern Ireland First Minister, Arlene Foster, describes EU decision to invoke Article 16 as an ‘incredible act of hostility’ : worldnews

EU fucked up pretty badly so it’s trying to force a vaccine company to divert it’s UK supply to the EU. The EU decided to try to block exports of any EU made vaccine and as part of that effort it triggered article 19.

Unfortunately it did so without using the arbitration agreement, without any notification to the UK and without telling the Irish government either, breaching said agreement less than a month after it came into force.

It’s left a lot of people scratching their heads wondering just what exactly they were thinking.

Updated: they have pulled back saying article 19 was mistakingly triggered. Unfortunately this begs more questions.
